Meet the Artist - Bridget Powers - Gelli Prints In-Person
As part of its Meet the Artist series, the Lakes Center for the Arts welcomes Bridget Powers presenting a class on Gelli Prints.
Create beautiful monotypes without a press! In this quick, technique-based class, Bridget Powers will show you how to make gorgeous prints with inexpensive materials. No experience necessary!
You’ll learn how to apply and remove paint from the gelli plate, add texture and develop your images with stencils, stamps, paint pens and all manner of mediums and materials. It is a truly limitless process and you will be addicted.
You can use your gelli prints to create hand made greeting cards on your own later with some ideas and examples that will be shared. Be prepared to get a little messy!
