Meet Claire Hebert-Dow of Laconia, author of the memoir Saving Mama which has been described with the clever and enticing tagline of, "The story of a unique family taking matters into their own paws."
Claire will read excerpts from her book, answer questions, and sign copies of the book which can be purchased ahead of time from Innisfree Bookshop.
Saving Mama is the tale of a woman’s travels in uncharted territory. With the help of some unlikely warriors - five kitties and one pup - she discovers that life isn’t always what you expect, but it can be more than what you dreamed possible.
Claire is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of New Hampshire, with a bachelor’s in psychology, and a master’s in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a proud Mama and Mimi to four grandchildren and lives in Laconia, NH, with husband Dean and Toby. Profits from the sale of Saving Mama will be used to support K-9 working dogs and comfort dogs.
