Holocaust Film Series: Gentleman's Agreement In-Person
Nominated for eight Academy Awards and winning three: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Director, Gentleman's Agreement stars Gregory Peck as a journalist who goes undercover as a Jewish man in order to write an article about antisemitism in New York. Following the film there will be a discussion. This is the last of three films in a series with a goal to provide audiences with greater insight into the social, political, and cultural contexts of the Holocaust and antisemitism by connecting film narratives to historical events.
